Desert Diary: A Memorable Trip to Jaisalmer

Desert Diary: A Memorable Trip to Jaisalmer

I went on a trip to Jaisalmer in the month of November with a group of 5 friends. We reached Jaisalmer Railway Station in the morning. We had booked a Full Day Desert Safari Tour Package from the Real Desert Man Safari Jaisalmer. It was our best and smart decision to book a package online. The company cab came to pick us on the Railway Station. It had saved our time in hiring a cab and guide.jaisalmer tour packages

Our tour started here. Our guide was giving us information about the history of Jaisalmer and its majestic architecture. We reached Kuldhara Village which is an abandoned site. We could see very few people around us. People were in their traditional dress, probably it was Rajasthani dress. Women wearing ghaghra and silver ornaments, men wearing dhoti and turban. We loved clicking few pictures with them.

We moved on ahead and we had lunch under the shade of a tree. The food was simply scrumptious and much better than 5-star hotel food. The way food was served with love and magic, we were so impressed.  We had an amazing experience to have lunch in this way.

We further went for camel safari. The camels were decorated colorfully. Initially, I was scared but later when ,my ride started, I got comfortable and enjoyed till it ended. We were taken through the sand dunes and some majestic sites. In the evening, we clicked some splendid shots of sunset. I wished my ride to never end, I was enjoying at fullest. In fact all my friends had so much fun during the camel safari.

We were dropped at the Camps where we were asked for welcome drinks and snacks for refreshment. There was an open fire where we cooked food together. This was another interesting activity when we enjoyed so much. We had dinner and we didn’t know we will cook so delicious food. We clicked some more pictures and selfies.

Finally, our driver dropped us at our hotel safely. The tour ended and we would love to come back again to enjoy the desert safari on the sand dunes.

Next day, we enjoyed sightseeing at Jaisalmer city. The fort and havelis were so mesmerizing. In the evening, we departed for our next destination.

We loved our trip to Jaisalmer. All this could not be possible without the support and management by Real Desert Man Safari Jaisalmer. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and fun-loving.
